About the app
The Bawan Gold app shows live gold and silver prices, the current Bawan bullion rate list for our 995 and 999.9 bars and Lyra coins, and lets you look up the gold price on any past date. You can read the app in English or Kurdish and switch prices between US dollars and Iraqi dinars.
Common questions
Why do prices change while I’m looking at them?
Gold trades continuously through the week, and the app updates as the market moves. The ounce price and the bar and coin rates are all calculated from the live market.
Can I buy gold through the app?
No. The app is for prices and information only. To buy or sell, visit us or get in touch directly.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Notifications are controlled in your device settings. On iPhone, open Settings, find Bawan, and choose Notifications.
The app is showing old prices or won’t load.
Check your internet connection, then close and reopen the app. If it keeps happening, email info@bawangold.com and tell us your device model and iOS version.
How do I change the language or currency?
Open the Settings tab in the app. You can switch between English and Kurdish, change the display currency, and adjust the text size.
